Description

PEG 1500-CP is a polyethylene glycol with a molecular weight of around 1500. This polymer consists of the hydrophilic ether group, which is responsible for its water solubility and the hydrophobic carbon chain. The polymer can be used as a viscosity modifier in water-based coatings and resins. PEG 1500-CP has an average molecular weight between 500 and 3000, making it a light-weight polymer that has low surface tension. The solubility parameter of this product is also low, which means it will be soluble in a wide range of solvents.
