Informations sur le produit
6-Phenyl-5-hexenoic acid is a thermolytic, reversible, radical cyclization reaction that produces cyclopropylcarbinyl, which reacts with toluene to produce a cyclopentane. 6-Phenyl-5-hexenoic acid has been shown to cause atherosclerosis in rats and humans when administered in large doses. This compound also reacts with solvents such as chloroform or acetone to form an arylating agent. The anion of 6-phenyl-5-hexenoic acid can be used for the transfer of carboxylic acids.
