• Description: 2-(Phenylmethoxy)-acetic acid hydrazide is a synthetic depressant that belongs to the group of phthalimides. It is an orally active drug with a triazolo structure and has been used in the treatment of psychoneurosis and anxiety, but it has also been found to be effective in treating reflexes and diazepine-induced psychosomatic disorders. 2-(Phenylmethoxy)-acetic acid hydrazide may also act as a prodrug for other agents, such as azides or phenylureas.
