Description

Picolinic acid ethyl ester is a copper complex that binds to the nitrogen atoms of picolinic acid. It is an effective dose for treating autoimmune diseases and inflammatory diseases. Picolinic acid ethyl ester has been shown to inhibit the activity of growth factor and may be used in combination with sodium carbonate to treat metabolic disorders. Picolinic acid ethyl ester binds to copper ions, forming a chelate ring. The carbonyl group on the picolinic acid ethyl ester molecule interacts with the hydrogen bond on the copper ion, which stabilizes the complex. Picolinic acid ethyl ester has kinetic properties as it reacts quickly with hydrochloric acid, forming picolinates, which are inorganic acids.
