Description

Pentafluorobenzaldehyde is a chemical that is used in the wastewater treatment. It is often used as a reactant for trifluoroacetic acid and anhydrous sodium, which are strong oxidizing agents. The reaction mechanism of pentafluorobenzaldehyde and its reactants has been studied extensively. Pentafluorobenzaldehyde has shown potential to be an effective treatment for diabetic neuropathy by inhibiting the activity of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase at low concentrations.
