Description

Pivalic acid hydrazide is a chemical compound that is used in wastewater treatment. It is also being studied for its potential use as an anticancer drug and as a treatment for neurodegenerative diseases. Pivalic acid hydrazide has been shown to have antiviral, anticancer, and anti-inflammatory properties. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria, fungi, and protozoans by chelating metal ions such as copper and iron. This property may be due to its ability to act as a structural theory of functional groups or organic solvents. The 13C-NMR spectra revealed the presence of nitrogen atoms in pivalic acid hydrazide.
