Description

PEG 3350 is a polyethylene glycol (PEG) with an average molecular weight of 3350. PEGs are used as solvents, viscosities, and emulsifiers in pharmaceutical formulations. They also have properties that allow them to be used as absorption enhancers for drugs that are poorly soluble in water, such as the anti-inflammatory drug diclofenac sodium. PEGs are used as excipients in many different types of medications and can be found in products such as eye drops, creams, and inhalers.
