• Description: Acid Red 92 is a monosodium salt of the synthetic red dye Acid Red 92. It has been used in polymerase chain reactions, including the generation of kinetic data. This product is also used as a substrate for enzymes such as tyrosine kinase and polymerase. The product is not intended for use in vitro methods involving light exposure or activation. Acid Red 92 has been shown to inhibit mitochondrial functions and can be used in the preparation of fatty acids for assays such as WST-1 assay.
