Description

Z-L-phenylalanine 4-nitrophenyl ester is a zwitterion that is the product of a second order reaction. It has hydrophobic properties and can be found in biochemical reactions. This compound reacts with histidine, which is a positively charged amino acid, and forms an enzyme complex.
