Description :
L-Proline ethylamide hydrochloride is a derivate of L-proline, which is an amino acid. It has been shown to inhibit leukocyte elastase and pancreatic elastase. The compound was prepared in the form of its hydrochloride salt by reacting l-phenylalanine with diethyl ether, followed by hydrolysis with hydrochloric acid.
