• Description: 3-Phenylethynyl-pyridine (3PE) is a biomolecular that is used as a fluorinating agent in organic synthesis. 3PE has been shown to react with diazonium salts, forming an unstable copper complex that reacts with anilines and terminal alkynes to form the corresponding pyridinium salt.
