Description

Pseudolaric acid A is a diterpene that has been found to have anti-inflammatory and anti-diabetic properties. The low bioavailability of pseudolaric acid A may be due to its hydroxyl group, which limits its absorption and distribution. Pseudolaric acid A has been shown to have complex enzyme inhibitory effects on the human immune system. It can also reduce the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-8 in the k562 cells.
