Description

Plantagosides are a group of natural compounds found in the fructus plantaginis. They are structurally similar to the fatty acids, and they have the physiological function of inhibiting the growth of bacteria. Plantagosides also have antimicrobial activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
