Description :Paederoside is a phenolic acid that is found in the rhizome of Asperula erythrosa. It has anti-tumor properties and may be used as a dietary supplement or medicine to treat tumors. Paederoside may also have an effect on the low energy hydrophobic effect and enzyme hydrolysis. Paederoside has been found to be effective in inhibiting tumor growth in mice and may inhibit the activity of enzymes such as phospholipases, proteases, lipases, and nucleases. The hydrogen bond between the hydroxyl group and the carbonyl group of paederoside is responsible for its anti-tumor properties.
