Potassium pentafluorozirconate is an inorganic compound that is an additive to polyurethane. This additive has a function similar to the polyethers, which are used as stabilizers and plasticizers for polyurethane. Potassium pentafluorozirconate also acts as a catalyst for the reaction of isocyanates with amines, alcohols, and carbamic acid. This product is commonly used in the production of polyurethanes and other polymers.
