Description :
Potassium allyltrifluoroborate is a heterocyclic compound that is used as a reagent in cross-coupling reactions. Allylation and amination reactions are efficient methods for the synthesis of amines. The allylation reaction involves the addition of an allyl group to an organic molecule, while the amination reaction involves the conversion of ammonia gas to an amine. Potassium allyltrifluoroborate can be used in both these reactions, but it is best suited for the amination reaction because it has a higher energy efficiency than other reagents.
