Quizalofop-P-Tefuryl is a bacterial strain that belongs to the class of fatty acid. It has been synthesized chemically by an esterification process. The sample preparation for Quizalofop-P-Tefuryl is via extraction with organic solvents, such as hexane or ethyl acetate. Quizalofop-P-Tefuryl is used in animal health to inhibit growth and reproduction of bacteria, fungi, and parasites. This chemical can also be used to control weeds and other pests on crops. Quizalofop-P-Tefuryl inhibits the target enzymes dibutyltin oxide and glyphosate, which are involved in biosynthesis of fatty acids. It is also active against some Gram negative bacteria like Escherichia coli, Salmonella enterica, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus and Enterobacter cloacae.
