Description :
Rosiglitazonesodium is a drug that belongs to the class of thiazolidinediones. It is used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, as well as for the treatment of diabetic complications such as congestive heart failure and coronary heart disease. Rosiglitazonesodium has been shown to improve glucose tolerance in patients with type 2 diabetes. This drug also improves insulin sensitivity and reduces insulin resistance. Rosiglitazonesodium has a linear calibration curve that can be used to measure postprandial plasma glucose levels, which are useful in assessing the risk of developing chronic kidney disease in diabetic patients.
