4-Hydroxymethamphetamine is a drug that belongs to the group of amphetamine compounds. It is a model system for studying protein genes, cardiac pharmacokinetic properties, and fluorescence detector sensitivity. It is also used in biochemical research as a matrix effect and detection sensitivity. 4-Hydroxymethamphetamine has been shown to have drug interactions with diabetic neuropathy and analytical methods such as LC-MS/MS. It has been detected in human serum at concentrations of 0.5 ng/ml.
