C.I.Reactive Orange 5 is a diazonium salt that has been used extensively in wastewater treatment. It is a reactive substance that produces an orange-red color when exposed to radiation, and it can be used as an indicator for the presence of chlorine atoms or other oxidizing agents. C.I.Reactive Orange 5 is also a good adsorbent for hydroxy groups and has been shown to have a synergistic interaction with other substances such as radiation, chlorine, or ozone.
