Description

Rhodium(III) chloride hydrate is a catalyst that is used in the oxidation of aromatic hydrocarbons. It has been shown to have an acidic reaction with hydrochloric acid and is used in the oxidation of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene. Rhodium(III) chloride hydrate has also been shown to be a good catalyst for the production of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons from light emitting diodes.
