Siramesine has been shown to be effective against solid tumours, such as cancer tissues, death, dinucleotide phosphate, phase transition temperature, mitochondrial membrane potential and cancer. It also inhibits the growth of malignant cells in the brain. Siramesine is currently being studied for its possible use in the treatment of bone cancer and malignant brain tumours.
