Description :Suc-Ala-Ala-Phe-pNA is a peptide that is being studied for its potential to act as an anticancer agent. It inhibits the growth of tumor cells by binding to the neurokinin receptor and thereby blocking the production of substances such as epidermal growth factor, which promote tumor growth. Suc-Ala-Ala-Phe-pNA also has been shown to inhibit the activity of enzymes involved in glucocorticoid receptors, which are proteins that play a key role in regulating the immune response.
