• Description: SC-57461A is a novel compound that is selective for the toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4). It has been shown to have pro-inflammatory effects and to induce the production of inflammatory factors, such as tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) and interleukin 1 beta (IL-1β), in vitro. SC-57461A has also been found to inhibit neuronal death in animal models of brain injury.
