Description

4-(N-Succinimidylcarboxy)benzophenone is a fluorescent probe used for the analysis of drug target proteins in mammalian cells. It is conjugated to drugs, such as doxorubicin, and can be used to track their movement within cells. 4-(N-Succinimidylcarboxy)benzophenone is also used to study the function of cytochromes P450 and other drug-metabolizing enzymes by measuring their ability to metabolize drugs in cell culture.
