Description :Sophoridine is a quinolizidine alkaloid from Chinese medicinal plant Sophora flavescens. The compound has anti-proliferative effects and inhibits growth of colorectal cancer cells and xenograft tumors. The compound is also a low potency blocker of hERG channel and is able to alter its activation properties. It has antiviral properties against Coxsackievirus B3, which is a causative agent of the viral myocarditis.
