Description

Tripotassium tris[5,6-diaminonaphthalene-1,3-disulphonate(2)-N,N]ferrate(3) is a silver salt that has a wavelength of 587.7nm. It is used in the production of color photographic materials and laser ablation for the removal of unwanted material from surfaces. This salt is also used as a contrast agent for imaging by optical microscopy or scanning electron microscopy. The element silver and halide ions are both involved in the formation of this compound.
