N-{3-[(4-{[3-(Trifluoromethyl)phenyl]amino}-2-pyrimidinyl)amino]phenyl}cyclopropanecarboxamide is a drug that belongs to the class of inhibitor drugs. It inhibits the enzyme histone deacetylase (HDAC), which regulates gene expression. This compound has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in mouse models of prostate cancer by targeting HDAC and preventing cancer cells from dividing. N-{3-[(4-{[3-(Trifluoromethyl)phenyl]amino}-2-pyrimidinyl)amino]phenyl}cyclopropanecarboxamide has also been shown to inhibit the growth of colon cancer cells and leukemia cells in vitro, as well as human breast cancer cells in vivo.
