• Description: m-Topolin is a phenolic acid that is extracted from the roots of plants in the Solanaceae family. It has been shown to have antioxidant and physiological effects in vitro and in vivo. m-Topolin has been found to inhibit protease activity, which may be due to its hydroxyl group. The optimum concentration for m-topolin is 1 mM, as it can cause cytokinin production at higher concentrations. The chemical stability of m-topolin is not known.
