Description :
2,3,4,5-Tetrafluorobenzoyl chloride is a diphenyl ether that is used as an antimicrobial agent. It is synthesized by the reaction of an inorganic acid and a hydroxyl group. 2,3,4,5-Tetrafluorobenzoyl chloride binds to the reactive functional groups on the surface of bacteria cell walls and inhibits the production of proteins vital for their growth. 2,3,4,5-Tetrafluorobenzoyl chloride has been shown to be effective against infectious diseases such as autoimmune diseases.
