4,5,6-Trichloropyrimidine is an organic compound and a pyrimidine derivative. It is a reactive compound that has been shown to react with amines to form chloramines. 4,5,6-Trichloropyrimidine is also efficient in the conversion of hydrogen chloride to hydrochloric acid. 4,5,6-Trichloropyrimidine can be found in the environment as a result of industrial processes such as chlorine production or coal gasification.
