N-[4-(Trifluoromethyl)phenyl] acetamide is a stabilizer that inhibits the aggregation of anilines. It is synthesized in two steps, starting with the condensation of 3-trifluoromethylaniline and 4-nitrobenzaldehyde to form a dimer interface. The resulting product was then hydrolyzed to form the desired product. N-[4-(Trifluoromethyl)phenyl] acetamide has been shown to stabilize coumarin rings and light chains by inhibiting their dehydrogenation. This molecule has also been found to be effective against mosquitoes, as it reduces their ability to synthesize ATP, which is essential for flight muscles.
