Description :3,4,5-Trimethylaniline is a chemical compound that has been found to have anticancer activity. 3,4,5-Trimethylaniline has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo by inducing apoptosis. It also inhibits the formation of nitric oxide (NO) and reactive oxygen species (ROS). 3,4,5-Trimethylaniline binds to DNA and RNA and inhibits protein synthesis. This compound is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of etoposide. Etoposide is used as a chemotherapeutic agent for the treatment of various types of cancer.
