Tetrakis(butoxyethoxy)silane is a reactive cross-linker that can be used to introduce the fluorine group onto polydimethylsiloxane. It is a non-polar, hydrophobic molecule that has been shown to react with surfaces such as glass and silicon. Tetrakis(butoxyethoxy)silane has high reactivity and is able to form covalent bonds with many substrates.
