Description

2,4,6-Tris-(2,4,6-tribromophenoxy)-1,3,5-triazine is a polyhalogenated phenol that has been shown to be metabolized by the liver. This compound has been shown to induce gene expression changes in rat livers and to cause toxic effects on the kidneys. 2,4,6-Tris-(2,4,6-tribromophenoxy)-1,3,5-triazine can form chlorinated compounds when it reacts with chloride ions and hydrogen bonding interactions.
