Description

Tetravinyltin is a halogenated organometallic compound that contains a single chlorine atom. It has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells and induce apoptosis in vitro. Tetravinyltin can also be used as an anticancer agent due to its ability to bind to DNA-binding proteins and inhibit protein synthesis. Tetravinyltin also inhibits the production of serine proteases, which are enzymes that help cancer cells grow and spread. The chemical stability of tetravinyltin allows it to be used as a cross-linking agent in chromatography science.
