Description

4-Tert-butyl-N,N-dimethylaniline is a monomer that can be protonated to form the corresponding protonated ligand. It is a reactive compound that will react with vinyl groups and benzoyl peroxide to form free radicals. 4-Tert-butyl-N,N-dimethylaniline has been used in sample preparation by reacting with deuterated solvents. This compound has also been evaluated for its ability to react with other organic compounds and to produce exothermic reactions. The vibrational spectra of 4-tert-butyl-N,N-dimethylaniline have been studied using peroxide as a test substrate.
