• Description: Tris(hydroxypropyl)phosphine (THPP) is a water-soluble phosphine based disulfide reducing agent. THPP has similar properties to TCEP-HC: it is faster than the commonly used DTT and DTE, is stable to oxygen and metals, appears as a non-volatile odourless solid and can be used at a broad pH range. An advantage over TCEP-HCl is the fact that THPP can be used in buffered aqueous-organic media and is more stable to air oxidation.
