Tetracycline-d6 is an antibiotic that inhibits the growth of bacteria by binding to the ribosomal subunit. Tetracycline-d6 is used in the treatment of urinary infections caused by E. coli, Enterobacter cloacae, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Proteus mirabilis. Tetracycline-d6 has been shown to have antimicrobial activity against a wide range of microorganisms including gram negative and gram positive bacteria, as well as fungi and protozoa.
