Description

2,4,6-Trichlorophenol is an organic compound that has the chemical formula C6H3Cl3O2. It is a colorless solid that dissolves in water and reacts with most acids to form trichlorophenolates. 2,4,6-Trichlorophenol is used as a precursor to other products including herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides.
