Description

Timepidium Bromide is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of anticholinergic drugs. It is used as an anti-cholinergic drug in the treatment of urinary retention and other bladder diseases. Timepidium Bromide inhibits the release of acetylcholine from nerve endings, thereby reducing smooth muscle contraction in the bladder. This drug also has an effect on the heart, causing a decrease in heart rate and blood pressure, which may be due to its ability to inhibit sodium ion channels.
