Description

3-(Trimethylsilyl)-1-Propanol is a supercritical fluid that can be used to stabilize activated complexes. It has been shown to stabilize the cyclopentanoid ring in organic acids, unsaturated alkyls, and organic solutions. 3-(Trimethylsilyl)-1-Propanol is a stable analog of 1-propanol and has been shown to have surface properties that are similar to those of silicon.
