Description

Trimethyl orthoacetate is a reactive chemical compound that reacts with alkanoic acids to produce esters. It is a colorless liquid at room temperature and has a pleasant odor. Trimethyl orthoacetate can be used in the synthesis of esters, which are important intermediates in the development of pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals.
