Description :
2,3,4,5-Tetrahydro-1H-benzo[e][1,4]diazepine dihydrochloride is a hypotensive agent that is used as an intermediate in the preparation of other drugs. It also has bioactive properties and can be used as a synthetic molecule. The synthesis of 2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-benzo[e][1,4]diazepine dihydrochloride involves solid-phase synthesis (SPPS) of the starting material 1-(2-aminophenyl)-2-methylpropane on a silica gel support. The SPPS is efficient and provides bioactive molecules with low molecular weight.
