Description

Tetrabromobisphenol A bis(2-hydroxyethyl) ether is a synthetic reagent that is used as an analytical method to measure the dry weight of a sample. It has been shown to have both reactive and polymerization initiator properties. This compound is used in analytical methods such as optical density measurements, sectioning, and chemical compositions. Tetrabromobisphenol A bis(2-hydroxyethyl) ether has also been shown to be a cross-linking agent for polymers, which can be used in the manufacture of triclosan.
