- Tetraethylene glycol diacrylate
Tetraethylene Glycol Diacrylate is a synthetic polymer that has been used as a model system for studying the hydroxyl group. It is hydrated and has an allyl carbonate group that can form a disulfide bond. Tetraethylene Glycol Diacrylate is insoluble in water, but soluble in organic solvents such as chloroform, acetone, and tetrahydrofuran. Tetraethylene Glycol Diacrylate can be hardened with the addition of metal chelates or inorganic acids. It is resistant to radiation and light exposure. Tetraethylene Glycol Diacrylate can be used as an electrochemical electrode or fluorescent probe.
