Description

3,3',4',7-Tetrahydroxyflavanone is a bioactive phenolic compound that is found in extracts of plants such as Etoac. It has been shown to have antifungal activity against Candida albicans and Saccharomyces cerevisiae, as well as antioxidant properties. 3,3',4',7-Tetrahydroxyflavanone has also been shown to inhibit neuronal death when it is exposed to oxidative injury and to have anti-diabetic effects by reducing the incidence of diabetic neuropathy in rats.
