Description

2',4',6'-Trihydroxydihydrochalcone is a chalcone that has been studied for its potential use in the treatment of cancer. It has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of prostate cancer cells and induce apoptosis. 2',4',6'-Trihydroxydihydrochalcone has also been shown to have an anti-schistosomiasis effect, which may be due to its ability to inhibit tyrosinase activity. This compound is also found in exudates and homogenates from human breast cancer tissue, and some studies have shown that it inhibits tyrosinase activity and fatty acids synthesis.
