Description :4-(Tributylstannyl)pyridazine is a heterocycle that can be used as an analog for pyridazine. It has been shown to have antimicrobial activity against bacteria and fungi, but not against viruses. 4-(Tributylstannyl)pyridazine is also a phosphoinositide analog, which has been shown to inhibit the synthesis of nucleic acids in cancer cells. This compound binds to the enzyme hydrazide reductase and inhibits energy metabolism through its inhibition of oxidative phosphorylation. 4-(Tributylstannyl)pyridazine also has a nitrogen atom, which may be responsible for its agrochemical properties.
