Description :
2-(Trifluoromethyl)benzeneboronic acid is a processable boronic acid that can be used in a cross-coupling reaction with organosilicon compounds. This reagent has been shown to be useful for the synthesis of prostanoid receptors and is also effective as an x-ray crystallography probe. 2-(Trifluoromethyl)benzeneboronic acid has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties in humans and may be used in pharmaceutical preparations.
